1. Create a protective barrier. Before swimming, rinse hair with clear, clean water to create a ‘clean coat’ to avoid the hair from soaking up the salt and chlorine (A layer of coconut oil is also a good way to do this and smells yummy!)

2. Rinse out. After swimming, rinse hair again- Salt water feels great but can bleach the hair, so it’s always a good idea to get that hair cleaned as soon as possible.
